A fabulous cello made in the workshop of Thomas Kennedy, the great London cello maker. The cello is modelled on the Grand Amati pattern much admired by Kennedy and is absolutely typical of London work from his workshop of this period. The scroll is very beautifully carved and shows all the characteristics of Kennedy and his workshop.
 
The condition is good and the tone is excellent, of soloist quality.
