A superb violin by the greatest German maker, Sebastian Klotz circa 1755.

This is a wonderful violin, in absolutely immaculate condition, certainly museum worthy. The quality of the craftsmanship is of the highest standards and it is easy to see why Sebastian Klotz was the most celebrated maker in Germany. Built to the extremely elegant Amati and Stainer pattern, this instrument looks and sounds beautiful.

The tone is very focused, bright and powerful. It would make an excellent companion for a progressing student, professional or keen amature musican who would appreciate being a custodian of such a fine, historically important instrument.

Sebastian Klotz, Mittenwald 1755
