A very fine cello bow made by Jutta Walcher in Oxford circa 2000.

Jutta is a very well renowned bow maker and restorer having over 20 years experience making and restoring bows, including 10 years looking after the bows of the students at the RAM.  In 1998 she won the bronze medal at the Manchester International Competition for cellos and cello bows and was also selected to have a bow featured in the B.V.M.A’s seminal book ‘The British Violin’.

This bow is in superb condition being owned by one owner since it was made who kept it in immaculate condition. The choice of pernambuco is simply stunning, visually superb and structurally perfect.  Strong and yet sensitive with plenty of balance and control.
