This is a superb cello bow made by Malcolm Taylor in Barnstaple, during the Christmas of 1998.
Malcolm worked for the prestigious violin dealership W. E. Hill & Sons from 1949-1973, eventually becoming workshop manager in 1962. This bow was made when Malcolm left Hills and set up independently. It is sold with the original letters of correspondence, invoice and certificate of authenticity from Malcolm. A great playing stick in good condition, perfect for a player wanting a strong, heavier stick. Mounted in gold and ebony.
