A very fine example of an early cello bow by the English master, John Dodd.  Made in London around 1800, this bow is perfect for someone wanting a bow which sits between a modern and a classical bow, it's got a fantastic strength and draws a superb warm, rich tone.

On the lighter side it would be ideally suited to an early repertoire and chamber music.
