A superb quality three quarter size vioin sold by W. E. Hill and Sons in London in 1942. The violin retains its original Hill fittings and bridge and is in immaculate condition.
A lovely violin which would have been much cherished as it was bought from Hills right in the middle of World War II.
Its probably German in origin made around 1900 and has been expertly set up in the Hill workshop. Sold with the original receipt.
This would me a perfect violin for an up and coming student, incredibly easy to play, with a great tone, capable of producing power and brightness with plenty of richness and depth.
